Storey Elementary is the creative studio of Emy Storey.
20 years of experience in graphic design & creative direction, specializing in print & digital, identity & strategy, merchandising & marketing, concepts & content, diversity & inclusion.
Storey Elementary is like a school where you send your ideas to grow; to nurture their fundamental essence and communicate that message with playful clarity. Whether the mission is to develop an impactful campaign, find long term creative direction or create a singular visual concept, each project is solved with consideration, care and creativity, together with client and culture.
Emy's unique experience in the music industry and non-profit world has shaped this ethos. She has been creative director to the bands First Aid Kit and Tegan and Sara, both for over a decade, and was recently nominated for the Juno Awards album artwork of the year for Crybaby (2022). She was founder and creative director of the LGBTQ+ rights non-profit Revel & Riot (2010-2020), and a co-creator of the LGBTQ+ Healthcare Directory (2022). Emy has been an active board member of the Tegan and Sara Foundation for LGBTQ+ girls and women for the last five years.
